Hey!
My name is Joshua Sheldon, I’m a follower of Jesus, a software engineer, and an aspiring minister & creative. Thank you so much for reading this.
My favorite things to read, listen, talk, and write about are faith, politics, economics, culture, technology and the like1. My hope is that this website will be a space where I can put meditations on those topics. I love making people’s lives better, and my first most intent for this place is that something I write can do that for you.
Allegedly, you are what you eat, and I think that’s especially true for your media diet. Here’s what mine looks like right now. Its (probably) a better description of me than anything I could write2.
Music: Kings Kaleidoscope, Porter Robinson, FFXIV Soundtrack, and Hamilton

Outside of all this, I love learning, rock climbing, hiking, singing, pickleball, ping pong, photography, video & photo editing, and gaming. However, if some activity involves engaging with matters of meaning, systematic creativity, helping people, expression, and/or enjoying creation, I probably like it too.
I am simultaneously Gen Z and a big fan of email. If you’d like to reach out, you can do so at admin at joshuasheldon dot me.
Please let me know if you’ve found or devised any umbrella term for these topics. The best I could think of is “society”, but that word has been ruined for me.
“Know thyself” is an ongoing effort for me. Also, I think I, like most people, have a distorted view of myself, and the content I spend my time on says more about me than who I think I am.
Trying and failing miserably to cut down on this. People with experience conquering restlessness are encouraged to reach out.
